  Can I make a reservation?

With a $25 reservation fee (will be applied towards administrative fee at move-in), we will hold your desired size unit for up to two weeks.

What items am I not allowed to store?

Perishable food items, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous materials, combustible items, plants, animals or yourself. 

Is there power in your storage units?

We have several units that have power. Please call 417-886-4455 for availability.

Do you provide climate controlled storage?

All units are drive-up, non-climate controlled. 

Do you offer vehicle storage?

Our 10x20 and larger units can accommodate vehicle storage.

Do you offer short term storage?

Our rental term is month to month. Stay a month or a year; however long you need.

What documents do I need to rent a storage unit?

A valid form of government-issued ID. Such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID.

How can I pay for my storage unit?

You can pay for your storage unit with a debit card, credit card, or ACH online, over the phone or in the office during office hours. Autopay is also available.

Do you offer commercial storage?

Absolutely! Store documents, inventory or tools.

How do I get an access code?

Upon move-in you will be provided with a unique gate access code.

How wide are your drive lanes

Our drive lanes can accommodate a maximum of a 26ft truck.

What does "Resident, On-site Manager" mean?

That means that our property manager lives on-site at Battlefield Storage. They maintain the property and ensure that your items are kept safe night and day.

What are the access hours?

Access hours are 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.​

Do I need to provide my own lock?

Yes, we do require our tenants to provide their own lock. Disc locks are highly recommended. These can be purchased at any hardware store or we have them available to purchase in our office. Disc Lock Example

What if I get locked in after 7pm?

Please ensure that you arrive on-site with ample time to be able to leave by 7pm.

What is your move out process?

When you are ready to end your rental, we require our tenants to provide us with a written 2 week intent to vacate notice. This can be via email, text message or stopping by the office to fill out a form.

Where is Battlefield Self Storage Located?

2045 W. Sunset Street, Springfield MO 65807. Just west of Kansas Expressway on Sunset Street. 

What about insurance?

Our tenants are required to maintain insurance on their belongings. We do offer a variety of insurance policies at an additional cost.
